Whip-It-Up-Saturday:  

What: Come out and enjoy a free tying demonstration, every Saturday morning at the shop from January - mid March. Coffee and donuts supplied, Bloody Mary's welcome! Come early to secure a seat at the tying table. Cant make it? Tune in to our live broadcast on Insta/Fb. 

When: Every Saturday morning from 10:00 am - Noon

IRON FLY 2025:

What: Come test your tying skills and compete against 24 contestants behind their vises to tie up the most creative and effective patterns using a unique and tricky assortment of materials pre-selected and presented by the Western Anglers team. Compete before our judges for a chance to win some great prizes, all while supporting a good cause, as all proceeds go to Grand Valley Anglers Chapter 319 of Trout Unlimited. All are welcome to watch the live action tying and beer drinking, bring on the heckling!!!

When: Saturday, January 25th @ 5:30pm

Where: Western Anglers Fly Shop (413 Main Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501)

How: $10 to compete, $5 to drink beer, place bets and have a great time!

IF4 PRE-PARTY

What: Come join us at our annual IF4 PRE-PARTY event as we gather together and party as we get prepared to watch the world's leading fly fishing films! Where we will have some AWESOME prizes and raffles from some of our favorite brands that we all know and love! Come drink beer and party with us before the films!
 
When: Saturday, March 22nd @ 5:00PM

International Fly Fishing Film Festival - IF4 2025 : (more info to come)

What: World's Leading Fly Fishing Film Event. The International Fly Fishing Film Festival consists of premium films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe and showcases the passion, lifestyle, and culture of fly fishing. It is the gathering place of the fly-fishing community and a celebration of friendship, stories and stoke.
 


When: Saturday, March 22nd @ 7:00 PM (MDT) Doors open at 6:30PM.  Film begins at 7:00PM.
